- Die Deutsche Hochschule der Polizei (DHPol) ist eine universitäre Spezialhochschule, die von den Innenministerien und Innensenatoren des Bundes und der Länder getragen wird. Am 15. Dezember 2016 wurde die DHPol ins nordrhein-westfälische Hochschulgesetz aufgenommen, so dass ihr Status als staatliche Universität hochschulrechtlich präzisiert ist.
